I’m sure you will agree I need to stick to just writing after sharing this lame, little video with you. But I’ve been taking an author access class on Thursday nights and one of the homework assignments is to do a Facebook video of my author life. When I first saw this homework a month or so ago I was kind of horrified. I thought, nope. Not. Doing. That. Ever!
But here I am doing my homework because I really want to be a good student and a professional author. I know. I’m sorry. There is nothing professional about this video clip. My boys and husband helped me make it. It’s cheesy and I’m tired-looking and awkward here, but it’s done and you do get to see who helps me write my books.
This week my fourth novel, Chasing the Wind hits Amazon. It’s exciting and scary and feels like a small miracle that my California Rising series is finally finished after more than twenty-five years of dreaming about it while changing babies’ diapers and losing sleep over teenagers and selling fruit at the farmers’ markets. I’m so thankful for all of you supporting me along the way. Hope you still love me after watching this corny, country girl author’s clip because I love you.
